Even though digital would seem the more 'forever' medium there is something more secure about holding a book. It's a human thing, we like touching things to prove to ourselves there real right? At leaset most things.
I will read your posts on journals right now! Thanks for reading:) xoxo
Katie Heddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07463578747907972631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6963619970646787516.post-14930920357480960182013-01-14T07:27:24.138-08:002013-01-14T07:27:24.138-08:00I told we were kindred spirits;)

Thanks for posting this! ...LOVE LOVE LOVE, Katie! Thanks for posting this! I still have a combination of both books - paper and digital. It seems the "self help" or "not fun" ones end up on the Nook and the awesome, gotta keep it forever, and feel the pages kind end up in paper for me (price is also a factor - some paper books are cheaper than the Nook versions).

My favorite book as a child was "The Secret Garden". I had to have the leather bound copy from B&N - it is bound in purple leather with the white ribbon bookmark. I re-read it this summer for the sheer fun of it.

I wrote a similar blog post on journals and my profound love of them.
